Bathing
Washing your dog regularly and correctly is an important responsibility of pet ownership. A proper dog bath is a key to maintaining your dog’s vigorous good health and making your companion a pleasure to be near.
Wash your dog frequently
Quality shampoos and conditioners developed for dogs can be used frequently without drying the coat or skin. Using the correct shampoos, bathing your dog weekly is not excessive if carried out properly and with professional advice. Never use human shampoos, detergent based shampoos, aggressive shampoos or soaps on your dog. Remember a clean dog is a happy dog who will receive more love and attention.
No mess, no stress
Dogoverboard is specifically designed to enable dogs to be washed correctly and to allow dog lovers to easily wash their own dog without any of the hassles such as mess, dirty water, wet hair and an uncontrolled pet thus removing the stress on the dog and the owner. There are six baths and four separate high velocity blow drying booths available for use by dog lovers.
Unique dog baths
Dogoverboard’s unique dog baths allow the dog to walk into the bath (without ramps or steps). The bath is then easily raised to the correct height convenient for the bather. No more lifting, bending or bad backs. The baths are also ideal for older or less active dogs that would have difficulty jumping or walking up ramps.
High velocity dryers
Dogs should always be dried after bathing or swimming. Drip drying or allowing the coat to dry over many hours can lead to bacterial growth under the coat and assist the development of skin complaints, hot spots and contribute to poor coat quality. Dogoverboard has four high velocity dryers available for use by the public. To minimise the dryer noise on the sensitive ears of the dog, the dryer motors are separately housed well away from the drying nozzle.
Cleanliness is important
Dogoverboard do not use any recycled tanks or used dirty water as common in all hydro baths and mobile dog washers. We use heated fresh water kept at the prescribed correct luke warm temperature which soothes your dog. The wash and rinse water immediately drains away from the dog so it is not standing in any dirty water. This ensures that there are no cross infections of skin complaints or flea dirt from previous dogs.
Any size dog
Dogoverboard’s baths will safely hold any size dog from the smallest Chihuahua to the largest St Bernard. We specialise in washing and blowing out the coats of large doubled coated dogs such as Malamutes, Huskies or long haired German Shepherds.

Dogoverboard gives you the option of washing and drying your dog yourself (DIY Self Service) or getting us to carry out a full service professional wash, dry and blow out of your dogs’ coat for you. No mess, no cold hoses, no hassle, no cleaning the house, no sore backs, just a very happy and clean dog, and a relaxed owner.
